Every person needs support from others. People Incorporated promotes the dignity of individuals and families, moves people into the economic mainstream, and works to develop existing strengths and resources within communities. All of our efforts are directed by the concerns, hopes, needs, and dreams of the people we serve.

Community Action Promise

Community Action changes people's lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community, and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.

Head Start

Provides early childhood education, developmental screenings, health, nutrition, and family services to children 3 to 4 years old and their families. Children gain the social skills and knowledge necessary for success in school. Families receive support in working toward their goals, addressing their needs, and increasing their knowledge of child development.

Early Head Start

Provides center- and home-based child development, health, and family services to families prenatal up to 3 years old. Families receive support in working toward their goals, addressing their needs, and increasing their knowledge of child development.

Improving Scholars

At-risk middle and high school students are kept on the path toward their academic and career goals with weekly guidance that improves their scholastic performance and helps them avoid truancy behaviors.

Project Discovery

This drop-out prevention and college access preparatory program for high school students arranges college campus visits, provides academic support counseling, goal-oriented workshops, SAT fee waivers and test prep, and information on financial aid and college admissions.
